COMPANY INFORMATION

We are working in partnership with a prominent façade contractor known for delivering high-spec curtain wall and building envelope solutions on major commercial and mixed-use developments across Singapore. As part of their growing project demands, we are seeking experienced Facade Designers with strong technical knowledge and coordination skills to join their dynamic team.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed façade system shop drawings and technical sketches based on architectural and structural specifications.
• Coordinate closely with project teams, including Main Contractors, Architects, Consultants, and internal departments, to resolve technical issues.
• Attend design coordination and site meetings to address design-related matters; document and follow up on action items.
• Track and manage design deliverables, including shop drawing submissions, sample approvals, and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare fabrication and installation drawings for internal production and site teams.
• Work with procurement to specify and validate façade materials and systems for submission.
• Support the site installation team with clarifications, revised drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Report to the Design Manager and ensure project timelines are met from a design standpoint.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related design/technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in façade design within a Façade Contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of curtain wall and unitized façade systems, including fabrication and installation requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and other 3D modeling tools is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and coordination skills.
