Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

We are in a joint venture with a well-established Main Contractor delivering large-scale Buildings and infrastructure projects across Singapore. For the on-going large scale LTA and Building projects, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a projects team.

Position 1: Project Quantity Surveyor (Upto SG$6,500)
Position 2: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Upto SG$9,500)

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Contracts Manager in preparation of quotation in respect of variation works, post-tendering processes and/or contract administration works including post-tender contract commercial works
• Provide support in contract administration, cost control, sub-letting, settlement of final account
• Prepare project budget, tender and preliminary tender and cost estimation
• Responsible for contractual documents
• Evaluate subcontractors’ variation works and payments;
• Negotiate with clients/subcontractors for final account settlement
• Responsible for project budgeting and cost control
• Measure, value, negotiate and submit contract variation
• Evaluate subcontractors’ payment application
• Liaise with subcontractors with regards to contractual matters
• Prepare payment applications, payment certificate and variation of orders’ application
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the QS Manager
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team to handle contractual related issues

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Higher Diploma holder in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related discipline
• At least 5 years of overall background in Quantity Surveying, with 2 years with Main Contractor and involves either Infrastructure or Buildings Projects
• Strong management, communication and problem solving skills
